Applies to all rentals facilitated through the Nuvo platform including house-owned rentals via Nuvo Rentals and third-party vendor rentals.

1. Overview

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") governs the terms between the Renter ("you" or "customer") and either:

  • A third-party Vendor renting through the Nuvo marketplace, or

  • Nuvo Rentals, which provides rentals of in-house inventory managed directly by Nuvo.

By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

2. Rental Period

  • The rental period starts at delivery or self-pickup and ends upon return or scheduled pickup.

  • Extensions must be requested through the Nuvo platform and are subject to availability and approval.

3. Renter Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the item throughout the rental period.

  • Items must be returned in the same condition received, accounting for reasonable wear.

  • You agree not to misuse, alter, or sub-rent the equipment.

  • You will notify the Vendor or Nuvo Rentals immediately in case of damage, theft, or malfunction.

4. Deposit & Return Process

  • A security deposit is required for all rentals.

  • After return, the Vendor or Nuvo Rentals will mark the item as “Returned” on the platform.

  • Upon confirmation, one of the following will be selected:

    • Full Refund – item returned in good condition.

    • Partial Refund – minor damage, missing accessories, or late return.

    • No Refund – significant damage, loss, or breach of agreement.

  • Refunds are issued only after return status is confirmed.

5. Dispute Resolution

  • If a Vendor selects partial or no refund, you may file a dispute through the platform.

  • Nuvo will mediate by reviewing the case, gathering evidence from both parties, and making a final decision.

  • Refunds will be issued after dispute resolution and Renter approval of the outcome.

6. Use of Equipment

  • All equipment is used at your own risk.

  • Nuvo and its Vendors do not guarantee compatibility, condition beyond listed specifications, or safety under improper use.

  • You agree to release Nuvo from liability for injury, loss, or damages resulting from the equipment or its use.

7. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made according to the cancellation policy shown at checkout.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of deposit or booking fees.

8. Vendor Responsibilities

  • Vendors must ensure the item is in good working condition, accurately represented, and ready at the time of pickup/delivery.

  • Vendors must mark return status and select appropriate refund option.

  • Vendors agree to honor Nuvo’s dispute resolution process and final decision.

9. House Products via Nuvo Rentals

  • Products listed under Nuvo Rentals are owned and managed by Nuvo directly.

  • The same policies apply, but returns, refund decisions, and disputes are handled exclusively by Nuvo.

10. Liability Waiver

  • You agree that Nuvo is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from rentals, whether from Vendors or Nuvo Rentals.

  • You assume all responsibility during use of the item.
